The bright colors jump at you through the plastic holder! Extremely crisp white, well-embossed paper! Perfectly margined banknote! Coffee bushes at left. Arms at center on the reverse side. A portrait of Emperor Haile Selassie seen on the right. Haile Selassie I, born Tafari Makonnen Woldemikael, was Ethiopia's regent from 1916 to 1930 and Emperor of Ethiopia from 1930 to 1974.
